Premium structural steel racking and display configurations engineered to handle extreme loads and maximize space utilization.
The global commercial storage and organizational infrastructure market has transitioned from static shelving units to dynamic, high-density, and automated systems. Within this transformation, the craft and hobby industry represents a specialized, high-SKU vertical. Craft storage requires complex engineering to accommodate thousands of product variations ranging from heavy, raw materials (like fabric bolts, steel tooling, and bulk chemicals) to ultra-light, detailed accessories.
Procurement leaders at global third-party logistics (3PL) providers, retail distribution hubs, and e-commerce giants now look beyond traditional retail displays. Modern operations require modular racking systems built with high-grade carbon steel (such as Q235 and Q235B) to guarantee stability, structural safety under high loads, and compliance with strict seismic guidelines. Flexible designs that incorporate automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) capabilities are quickly becoming the industry standard to control costs in high-turnover hubs.
China’s industrial clusters in Guangdong Province, specifically within the city of Foshan, offer unmatched efficiency in steel fabrication and powder-coating technologies. A combination of local raw material access, integrated supply chains, and highly automated machinery enables Chinese factories to manufacture products that meet global standards at a competitive price point.
Our 32,000 m² factory in Foshan uses automated machinery to turn raw structural steel into high-precision commercial storage solutions.

Industrial storage structures live or die by their steel quality. We manufacture our racks with domestic grade Q235 and Q235B structural carbon steel. Q235 steel is well-known for its excellent weldability, ductility, and high tensile strength, making it ideal for multi-tier adjustable systems and heavy-duty logistics shelves.
For projects that require impact resistance in low-temperature warehouses or high seismic zones, we use Q235B steel. It undergoes charpy V-notch impact testing to ensure it can handle sudden loads without fracturing. This helps ensure our racking structures remain safe under heavy weights and in active distribution centers.
To protect warehouse racking from oxidation and corrosion in high-humidity or chemical environments, we use a multi-step surface treatment line. First, automatic shot blasting machines strip the steel clean of mill scale, rust, and surface imperfections. This creates a clean profile that ensures strong adhesion for the topcoat.
Next, the steel components go through a dry electrostatic powder coating line. We apply thermosetting epoxy polyester powder and cure it at temperatures above 180°C. This forms a hard, impact-resistant finish that resists abrasions from forklift scrapes, resists peeling, and blocks chemicals, keeping your warehouse safe and looking clean for years.

Our racking systems are built for a variety of commercial and industrial settings, each with its own load requirements and layout challenges:
Looking forward, the industrial storage market is focusing on two main areas: structural automation and green manufacturing. Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) are rapidly growing, replacing manual picking systems to maximize warehouse height and speed up order processing.
At the same time, environmental standards are reshaping manufacturing. Leading buyers now require zero-VOC electrostatic powder coatings and energy-efficient steel production. By upgrading our automated lines and recycling process waste, FlexiRack helps global buyers meet their ESG targets without sacrificing rack strength or longevity.
